I am so thankful for such a peaceful joy-filled Christmas.

I am so thankful for a BEAUTIFUL MOVING message and time at Hope. started with the cantata where we sat really close up front Saturday night before, then Christmas Eve at 1pm in the Bridge for the message “you gonna find out!” giving glory to God and then Sunday when we heard about the wise men and how God is seeking us just as much as we seek and want him. Thank you Lord God for this incredible blessing in Des Moines.

So many wonderful gifts…. SO many. chinchilla pillow, new pots and pans!, a gorgeous cream bowl with floral relief, a bell (we started opening gifts at 4:15 and didnt get done until 11:30! oepning and ringing the bell every 15 minutes!!), glass water bottles, branch pencils, an UA hat and eddie bauer top, a Victoria’s Secret zipup, an olive oil dipping plate and adorable grey and gold dotted plates! Soma tops and an adorable mod sweater from Hinge, a curling iron!, a beautiful lacy platter and bowl, cozy socks. a sound bar, grey crochet boots, an adorable ISU top and green sweater and oils!

Me, Sat evening reeeeally craving Thai. We had leftovers in the frig and things in the pantry. Josh had a great idea to make our own casserole with leftover soup. I was just sour—and I acknowledged it. Instead of getting frustrated, short and quiet with me (which I would have done!!!!) he was cute and excited about the food! He was helpful and sweet jazzing up the entire experience. He is the best.

Me, Sun Dec 14 morning: “Im so excited to frost those cookies!”
Josh: “Im so excited to frost your face!!…with kisses.” awwww!!

After discussing going to MN for Christmas, Josh showered and then came up to bed. “Im sorry for being difficult about travelling. I’ll get better. Its Christmas and your family wants to get together and we will.”

Texts “I love Christmas! and you.” and “Am I home to you yet??!!?!”
